Entry-Level Quality Assurance Engineer

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) AUB student branch is dedicated to supporting students at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and across Lebanon in learning essential skills in Computer Science and Mathematics. Committed to empowering students to excel academically and professionally, ACM AUB encourages a culture of community engagement and knowledge sharing. Additionally, the organization strives to enhance the quality of CS and Math education in Lebanon and the surrounding region, leveraging its resources to make a meaningful impact.

This is a part-time hybrid role located in New York, NY, with some flexibility for remote work. The Writer will be responsible for composing and editing written content to support ACM AUB's initiatives, including articles, newsletters, and promotional materials. Key responsibilities include conducting research, creating compelling narratives, proofreading content, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission. The Writer will collaborate with team members to deliver effective communication that engages and informs the target audience.

• Strong writing, creative writing, and editing skills.
• Experience with content strategy and an ability to research effectively.
• Proficiency in proofreading to ensure clarity and accuracy in written content.
• Knowledge of digital marketing or content marketing principles is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
• Familiarity with topics in Computer Science and/or Mathematics is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
