Job description
We are looking for a dependable, skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on carpentry experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working with custom cabinetry and detailed finish work.
You will assist with the installation of custom cabinets and related finish carpentry projects. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, paying close attention to detail, and representing the company professionally with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of custom cabinets and millwork
- Measure, level, shim, and securely install cabinetry
- Install and work with crown molding and trim
- Perform finish carpentry and detailed woodwork
- Use hand and power tools safely and properly
- Read and follow measurements, layouts, and installation instructions
- Load, secure, transport, and unload cabinets and materials
- Drive a company box truck locally to and from job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently and complete projects according to quality standards
- Perform other carpentry and installation duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous carpentry experience required
- Experience installing cabinets preferred
- Crown molding and finish carpentry experience required
- Ability to accurately measure and work with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record required
- Ability to safely operate a box truck
- Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
- Ability to lift and move cabinets and materials as needed
- Extensive experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, and finish work
