Fuel is reimbursed for actual miles driven at current average gas price in the delivery area.
Work hours –Sunday through Saturday
FedEx Alternative Vehicle Program (AVP) drivers do FedEx deliveries using their personal automobile. They work in a small area near their residence.
Packages will need to be picked up at Sanford terminal located at 451 Monroe Rd Sanford FL. Normal week is 20 to 30 hours.
Start time is 9:30am. Your end time varies based on the number of packages, the day of the week, your delivery abilities. Start time is 9:30am.
Prefer a small SUV or full-size car to allow adequate package space. AVP drivers are required to deliver 15 to 20 packages per hour. If you exceed 20 packages per hour there are additional bonuses available.
· Must be 21 years of age
· Must live within a 20-minute max drive from 451 Monroe Rd, Sanford, FL.
· Must own a RELIABLE car, less than 15 years old with insurance
· Part -time up to 30 hours per week
· Daily delivery packages are delivered to a central location
· Extensive training provided
· Hours could range from 4 to 8 hours per day, and 2 to 5 days a week, or more if you so desire.
· Requires a clean motor vehicle record
· Requires a clean background check.
· Uniform provided
