Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Customedica Pharmacy (Boise & Eagle, Idaho locations)
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (rotating)
Reports To: Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)/Pharmacy Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accurate medication dispensing and to prevent medication errors.
- Analyze patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplications.
- Counsel patients on the proper use, storage, and potential side effects of prescriptions.
- Administer vaccines and maintain accurate immunization records.
- Maintain strict adherence to State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA regulations, including management of controlled substance logs.
- Navigate third-party adjudications, resolve insurance rejections, and oversee the prior authorization process.
- Provide leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians, ensuring a workflow that is both efficient and safe.
Requirements
Current Idaho Pharmacist license or ability to apply and meet all requirements for licensure upon offer of employment.
Physical Requirements:
- High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours per day).
- Dexterity and fine motor skills for handling small instruments and counting pills.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
