Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in North Miami Beach, FL for a PPF/Vinyl Installer. The installer will prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, inspecting, and masking areas to ensure proper vinyl and paint protection film application. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting vinyl and PPF, applying wraps and films to a variety of vehicle types, and performing post-install inspections to ensure quality standards. The role also involves safely using tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines. The installer will regularly interact with supervisors and occasionally with customers to review work, clarify design details, and support a positive service experience.
Qualifications
- Experience with vinyl wrap and paint protection film installation, including surface prep, cutting, and application on various vehicle panels.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work carefully around complex surfaces, curves, and edges.
- Basic knowledge of automotive detailing practices and familiarity with hand tools, heat guns, squeegees, and related equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions, read job orders, and work efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to customer service and collaboration with coworkers.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift moderate weights as required for vehicle wrap work.
- Prior experience in vehicle wrapping, window tinting, or automotive customization is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
