As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a critical role in supporting our ISO 13485 quality system and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. Working closely with the Quality Manager and production teams, you'll be hands‑on in inspection, documentation, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement efforts.
What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming materials, first piece, in-process production, and finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications
- Complete accurate inspection records and related documentation
- Support the development of inspection and quality plans from design drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Determine gauge and fixture requirements
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and assist in resolving manufacturing or process issues
- Help maintain and enforce the Quality Management System (ISO 13485)
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify and participate in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Assist with lean initiatives and the development of procedures and controls
- Provide one‑on‑one training on quality procedures
- Recognize, report, and help correct errors
- Maintain regular, on‑site attendance
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years related quality experience, prior manufacturing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency with inspection tools and blueprints interpretation.
- Ability to develop and write clear work instructions.
- Strong math, communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with MS Office.
- Quality Certificate or Associates degree in Quality.
- Keyence, Micro Vu experience.
- Prior quality experience with medical device.
- Experience working in a job shop manufacturing environment.
- Stable, established company - successful medical device manufacturing since 2002.
