Position Summary:
Overview: We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team, specializing in auditing transactions and ensuring accurate closure of jobs within our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and operational data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties:
Transaction Auditing:
- Review and audit transactions entered into the ERP system for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in data entries and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to established data entry procedures and internal controls.
Job Closure:
- Manage the process of closing jobs within the ERP system upon completion.
- Verify completeness of job-related subtasks and material consumption.
- Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to resolve any outstanding issues related to job closure.
Data Integrity Maintenance:
- Monitor data quality and integrity within the ERP system, conducting regular audits and checks.
- Maintain accurate records of closed jobs and transactions for reference and reporting purposes.
- Assist in data cleanup activities and ensure consistency across different modules of the ERP system.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare reports and summaries related to transaction audits, job closures, and data integrity checks.
- Document audit findings, actions taken, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested information and participating in audit reviews.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance and operations to address data entry issues and improve processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding data entry requirements, procedures, and compliance standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Office Environment at a single manufacturing facility.
- Required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
