Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and knowledgeable SEO Manager to join our marketing team. The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, both local and national, coordinating with the creative team on content, design, social media, and other marketing activities, tracking and analyzing SEO performance, and advising management on SEO strategies and forecasted results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies with the goal of improving organic search results and maximizing ROI. This includes both local and national SEO tactics.
- Coordinate with content and design teams to optimize copy and landing pages for SEO.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content teams.
- Work alongside our Front-End Developer to implement SEO recommendations using basic HTML/CSS.
- Design and manage PPC campaigns, including reporting on campaign performance.
- Track, analyze, and report on website analytics.
- Improve internal linking structure and actively seek ways to increase the number of high-quality backlinks.
- Manage all PPC and display advertising campaigns, tracking performance, expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze SEO statistics such as redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and others.
- Optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities for growth.
- Build systems and best practices to ensure that all content is optimal for SEO.
- Conduct routine SEO audits, review technical issues, and recommend fixes.
- Maintain up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of SEO strategies, algorithms, and related industry trends.
- Monitor and understand competitor SEO activity and responses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in search engine optimization, Google Analytics, PPC campaign management, and related SEO tools.
- Proficient in basic HTML/CSS, with hands-on experience in implementing SEO tactics.
- Experience with website analysis and reporting tools.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
HTML/CSS isn’t a must but would be a bonus.
Google Ads and Google Analytics (GA4) Certifications a plus.
Power BI experience a plus.
