Summary:
The Inside Service Coordinator works in conjunction with and reports to the Operations Manager. This position will assist the Inside Service Team to help schedule, prioritize, and communicate repairs on the fleet in order to maintain the fleet for maximum equipment life and minimal downtime. The Inside Service Coordinator will help monitor workflow in the service shop to ensure the work is completed to specified requirements and in a timely manner.

Summary:
The Inside Service Coordinator works in conjunction with and reports to the Operations Manager. This position will assist the Inside Service Team to help schedule, prioritize, and communicate repairs on the fleet in order to maintain the fleet for maximum equipment life and minimal downtime. The Inside Service Coordinator will help monitor workflow in the service shop to ensure the work is completed to specified requirements and in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the parts department for any related parts needs
- Help move units to 3rd party chassis dealers
- Makes runs to get items we may need to finish a unit or advance them
- Assist Technicians where needed
- Put parts order in smart sheets for techs
- Maintain updates on parts order
- Help with whole goods inventory / Rental inventory
- Helping to stage units
- Deal with outside vendors when they come in
- Helping the yard attendant when they need a hand
- Communicate with the parts department for any related parts needs
- Coordinate with Weld Shop and Chassis Shop
- Delivering totes and delivering parts to the techs when needed
- Follow-up with service technicians to ensure proper equipment repairs
- Helps keep shop clean/orderly; takes out the trash
- Communicate with appropriate sales staff on the progress of priority work
- Authorize and create UCR’s (Unit Condition Report) through M3
- Authorize each line item of Work Order
- Assign to appropriate shop (Service/Weld/Chassis)
- Assign to appropriate person (WO managed by)
- Complete reason for UCR
- Check Warehouse location
- Review and enter repair yard comments
- Comments (supply additional information to ensure efficient workflow
- Shop Location
- Review UCR’s before shoeing repairs as complete/shop complete
- Coordinate with Paint Shop and Wash/Detail Bay
- Coordinate with Paint on repairs or complete paint units
- Coordinate with Wash/Detail on paint units, W00 or O00 units
- Learn the equipment product line and operational procedures
- Maintain pipeline and diligently log all activity in service management database
- Ensure proper administration tasks are completed accurately by the service technicians
- Assist service technicians in diagnosing equipment problems and ensure proper equipment repairs
- Communicate frequently with Service Supervisor for setting department goals
- Coordinate with technicians regarding shop flow – working on Priority A units first then A-B-C or sold units
- Coordinate with technicians after service shop work completion if unit needs chassis, weld, or paint repairs
- Ability to work in a safe manner and follow company safety standards
- 3 Years of successful utility equipment or related industry sales experience
- Thorough knowledge of equipment functions, operations, and repair techniques
- Experience in working in a results-oriented, team environment
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Experience with Service Management software; M3 experience a plus
- Exceptional time management skills
- Computer and Smartphone literacy
- ANSI, Dielectric, Inspection Certificates a plus, but not required
- Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to present recommendations and ideas to summarize issues

- Ability to learn technical material.

- Work as scheduled with punctual attendance 6:00 am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary in order to meet business demand
- Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a phone, copy machine, laptop, mobile device and computer printer.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds between workstations and storage.
- Regularly ascends/descends a ladder or other equipment to manage, move, lift or replenish inventory.
- Frequently maneuvers around equipment which includes climbing, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
