Hiring Crane Inspector / Technician (will train)
Do you enjoy working out doors and interested in learning to be a Crane Inspector? Experience working as a tree trimmer, roofing labor or experience working on ladders is a plus. As a Crane Inspector you will work with a team of experienced technicians making sure CTOS Aerials and Cranes meet and exceed safety regulations. CTOS provides training, uniforms, work boot allowance, full- benefits, vacation, sick time, 401K, pay increases and more.
- Safety is #1
- Monday – Friday (Over-time, Saturdays as needed)
- 6am start and off at 3:30pm
- Comfortable with heights from 6 feet to 112 feet plus
- Must be able to work outdoors (CTOS provides out door weather gear)
- CTOS will train!
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform annual crane, bucket and digger inspections and certifications.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- You will inspect Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) Cranes and equipment. You should have no fear of heights, mechanical aptitude, the ability to enter / document information on iPad / Computer
Details:
- Must follow all Safety procedures (harnesses etc.)
- Must be able to work outside in the weather
- CTOS provides uniforms, work boots, protective eyeglasses
- Cold weather gear, coveralls, rain gear, gloves, hand warmers, hats etc.
- Experience with repair of truck mounted crane products, buckets, diggers, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical systems a plus
- Ability to read and interpret parts lists, and able to document work performed and to read / understand manuals, diagrams and electrical schematics
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- National/Manitowoc/Terex/Altec/Grove experience and training a plus
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must have own hand tools
- Ability to learn and read and comprehend instructions and information, manuals, diagrams and electrical schematics
- Maintain accurate records, learn and able to read and understand crane load charts
