Machinist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating milling, turning and grinding machinery and a strong understanding of precision machining processes. This role involves manufacturing components to exact specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in production. The Machinist will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and quality while contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

• Operate machines, including milling machines, turning machines and grinders to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.
• Manufacture components from various materials while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Safely operate power tools and forklifts as needed for material handling and production tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience (6 years minimum) as a Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Including GD&T.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to operating machinery and handling materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
