Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Closet and Kitchen Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of custom closets, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and related fixtures. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install closet systems, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and fixtures according to project specifications and blueprints
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and drywall finishing as needed for seamless integration of cabinetry and fixtures
- Handle heavy lifting and maneuver large or bulky materials safely on-site while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure proper fit, finish, and alignment
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly after each project
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, including trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry installation, and drywall finishing
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic layouts
- Experience with construction site safety procedures and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards
- Knowledge of various construction trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, flooring installation (tile or wood), water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in restoration projects or remodeling tasks
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation preferred; willingness to travel between job sites as needed
