PURPOSE OF THE POSITION — Why the position exists and how you make a difference

The purpose of the position is to be a trusted technical advisor and advocate of network solutions for our clients in such a way they lead to addition bookings, profitable growth of cStor, and success for our clients. You will oversee a certain technology group – Networking and Firewalls - and support both internal associates and external clients with pre-sales network design-oriented solutions. Our team loves helping our clients understand technology, and in this role, you will consult with them about their networking and security requirements. Examples of typical projects would be building out a new data center, refreshing a school’s wireless network, or finding the right firewall solution to secure a business. 

KEY OUTCOMES — The outcomes and main goals that define what success in this position looks like

1. Drive client engagement – work closely with clients, partners, and account managers to identify and solve the client’s business needs
2. Collaborate for success – partner with account managers and engineers to architect the right solutions and lead the technical sale of a successful solution

• Providing excellent customer service while architecting complete solutions and network designs for our clients
• Developing product knowledge and selling skills for creating accurate, detailed solutions while offering options, accessories, and services to accompany the opportunity

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE — Technical capabilities you learn and acquire

• Experience and technical knowledge of Data Center, Security, and Cloud solutions
• Understands the technical facets of scoping, designing certain network solutions and understands the process of selling B2B services and solutions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS — Requirements you must meet to be considered for the position

• Four year (minimum) related experience in the following: Network technician, Network Technical Sales, Network Customer service 
• Technical certifications - preferred (CCNA / CMNA / Cisco Blackbelt Stage I /II, or other Network certifications) 
• Proficient in - keyboarding, MS Office Suite (Word & Excel), basic sales skills, time management; good communication skills (written & verbal) excellent listening skills 
• Ability to learn complex proprietary systems; to work as a team member or independently 
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
