Plate Rolling Machine Operator (Heavy Steel) — Belton, MO$25–$30/hr

Custom Steel Manufacturing is looking for a skilled operator to run heavy-duty rolling equipment in our Belton shop. This role focuses on forming large steel plate and structural components using manual rolling machines, with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and run plate rolling and angle rolling equipment
- Form heavy steel components to meet required radii and specifications
- Read and follow shop drawings to ensure correct dimensions
- Make machine adjustments to maintain accuracy and repeatability
- Inspect completed parts using standard measuring tools
- Maintain clean, safe equipment and work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work independently while supporting overall shop production
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience with plate rolling or similar heavy fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
- Reliable attendance and solid work habits
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet during shifts
Pay & Schedule $25.00–$30.00/hour depending on experience
Monday–Friday, day shift (overtime available)
On-site role in Belton, MO
