We are seeking a Java Developer to support the design and development of critical financial systems, including Fedwire applications (Securities, Funds, NSS, and Settlement systems). This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in technical design with architects
• Develop Java/J2EE applications on WebSphere
• Integrate components with enterprise frameworks
• Support unit, functional, and performance testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Contribute to code optimization and reuse strategies
• Maintain technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5 7 years of Java/J2EE development experience
• Strong experience with Java, JDBC, JavaScript, HTML
• Hands-on Spring Framework experience (AOP preferred)
• Oracle database experience (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Experience with WebSphere or similar servers
• 2 years with MQ/JMS messaging
• Understanding of scalability, resiliency, and security
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
• Experience with OO design and design patterns
• Financial Services industry experience

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Familiarity with open-source frameworks
