Certified Welding Technician

Custom Staffing is partnering with a local Manufacturing Company to add associates to their team in Marion, OH. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity with a company that offers compensation and benefits programs that are among the industry’s best. They operate on 8 hour shifts. 5 day work week with 2 consecutive days off. Custom Staffing Benefits: weekly pay (flexible pay options) and medical insurance.

Welding/Fabrication
Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Monday - Friday (overtime - as needed)
Rate of Pay: $18 /hr based on experience

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled individual for an industrial setting focused on heavy equipment repair. This role requires working in indoor and possibly in the elements, handling various equipment, and performing hands-on tasks for 8 hour workdays.

Experience Required:

• Stick welding

• MIG welding

• Torch/plasma cutting

• Fabrication tools

Preferred:

• Welding certification

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• AWS D1.1 Certified – Required

• 1 year experience
