Position Summary

As a Shipping and Delivery Driver, you are responsible for ensuring all products are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. You play a vital role in maintaining product quality, adhering to shipping procedures, and supporting efficient operations within the shipping department. Working closely with other team members and departments, you help coordinate materials and schedules so shipments meet customer expectations. You take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused, helping to keep the shipping process smooth and organized.

Core Responsibilities

• Scan, wrap, and prepare products for shipment according to company standards.
• Follow all task lists, manifests, and shipping procedures precisely.
• Load and unload products safely, staging them according to CSW standards.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately, including obtaining signed manifests and scanning them into Crow’s Nest.
• Perform label scans for all items on-site; if a label does not scan, take and upload a photo.
• Maintain adequate levels of shipping supplies and notify the lead or supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspections when assigned as a driver and ensure vehicles are returned fueled.
• Adhere to all on-site safety regulations and company safety protocols.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of deliveries as directed by the Shipping Lead or supervisor.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical as a condition of employment.

Quality and Problem-Solving

• Double-check shipments to ensure accuracy and quality before departure.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
• Work with team members to resolve minor scheduling or shipment issues quickly.
• Suggest improvements that could make the shipping process more efficient without sacrificing quality.

• Communicate effectively with shop staff, project managers, and other team members to coordinate shipment needs.
• Support a respectful and team-oriented environment.

Success in This Role Looks Like

• All orders are prepared correctly, with the right quantities, proper labeling, and no missing items.
• Products are ready for pickup or delivery according to schedule, even when timelines shift.
• Manifests, scans, and other shipping records are consistently accurate and filed in Crow’s Nest without delay.
• All handling, loading, and driving (when applicable) follow safety protocols, resulting in zero preventable accidents or injuries.
• You proactively update the Shipping Lead, shop, and project managers about shipment status, issues, or changes.
• The shipping area is kept neat, well-stocked, and free of safety hazards.
• You handle last-minute changes or unexpected challenges calmly, efficiently, and without sacrificing quality.
• You collaborate respectfully and contribute to a positive, solutions-oriented shipping department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $38.50 per hour
