Residential Remodeling Project Manager

Greensboro / Triad Area, NC | Full-Time | Residential Custom Remodeling

A growing residential custom remodeling company is seeking an experienced, organized Project Manager to lead kitchen, bathroom, and interior renovation projects from kickoff through final completion. We need a hands-on construction professional who can coordinate trades, solve problems, manage homeowners, and deliver excellent work on schedule and on budget.

MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF HANDS-ON RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

What You Will Do

• Manage multiple residential remodeling projects from start to finish, including schedules, budgets,quality, and closeout.

• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, inspections, jobsite activity, and production sequencing.

• Review plans, estimates, specifications, and scopes before work begins; identify gaps and prevent delays.

•Visit jobsites regularly to verify workmanship, safety, cleanliness, progress, and customer readiness.

•Communicate proactively with homeowners about progress, decisions, changes, and expectations.

•Track job costs, document and obtain approval for change orders, and protect project profitability.

•Resolve field issues, manage punch lists, and deliver a professional final customer experience

Required Experience & Skills

•At least 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience (required); kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling experience preferred.

•Solid knowledge of residential building methods, materials, trade sequencing, and quality standards.

•Experience managing subcontractors and multiple active projects; ability to read plans and scopes.

•Strong organization, scheduling, problem-solving, and homeowner communication skills. Comfort with basic computer tools and project management software; valid driver's license and reliable transportation
