Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patient needs and medical history
- Conduct patient evaluations focusing on physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and other specialized areas
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, exercise programs, and mobility training to promote recovery and functional independence
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage clinical documentation adhering to standards for medical terminology, physiotherapy records, and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assist with discharge planning by evaluating patient progress and coordinating follow-up care or home & community care services
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, rehabilitation exercises, and self-care strategies to support ongoing recovery
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics or inpatient hospital settings
- Hands-on experience with outpatient rehabilitation centers or home health environments is highly desirable
- Strong background in working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and post-surgical rehabilitation
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health record (EHR) management systems such as EMR platforms
- Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and treatment plan development tailored to individual needs
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professionalism and compassion
- Prior experience in discharge planning, acute care settings, hospital environments or outpatient clinics will be considered an asset

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
