What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard for LIJ Hospital position at Custom Protective Services?
Custom Protective Services is seeking Security Officers for Long Island Jewish Hospital in Nassau & Bethpage area. Looking for Security Guards to work mobile patrol, foot patrol & desk position, for access control and building Patrol. We have full-time & part-time permanent positions. Driving License and owning a vehicle is a requirement.
Responsibilities :
- Access control of personnel entering and leaving building.
- routine reports and daily logs.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license/driver’s license in good standing
- Computer literate
- Must have a valid NYS Security License 8hr/16hr certificates
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including a drug screening
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
Security Officer Starting Salary: $15.38
Full Time: 401K, Medical/Dental insurance available; Vacation, Sick Days
