We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Security Technician specializing in Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control systems. In this full-time role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of low voltage security systems to ensure optimal performance and security for our residential and commercial customers.

What You’ll Do
- Install, configure, program, and test alarm systems (ADT experience strongly preferred), CCTV surveillance (PoE/IP and analog cameras, NVRs/DVRs), access control panels, readers, locks, sensors, and related low voltage equipment.
- Run and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e/6, RG59, etc.), including proper labeling and testing.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure continuous system operation and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Utilize remote access software for diagnostics, updates, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Provide excellent customer service — explain system features, train users, and ensure complete satisfaction.
- Document all service activities, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the project manager and office team.
- Stay current with industry trends in intrusion detection, networking, and new surveillance/access control technologies.
What You Bring
- 2 years of hands-on experience as a low voltage or security systems technician.
- Strong knowledge of alarm systems (ADT preferred), CCTV (PoE and analog), access control hardware, and networking concepts.
- Experience with wiring practices, schematics, electrical codes (NEC), hand/power tools, multimeters, and cable testers.
- Mechanical aptitude with sensors, lock hardware, and surveillance equipment.
- Ability to read technical documents and troubleshoot on-site independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a clean, professional appearance.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
