What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Custom Profiles, Inc.?
Responsibilities
- Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include, but not limited to, extrusion line equipment, tools, and/or dies.
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance to Company Safety Policy.
- Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product and packaging product.
- Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards.
- Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year production experience, preferably in extrusion/manufacturing process.
- Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
- Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
- Physically able to safely lift boxes, bundles, and/or reels weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Physically able to stand on concrete for 8 – 12 hours per day.
- Physically able to bend and squat at regular intervals.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience (required in some locations).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
Monday-Friday (normal workweek scheudle)
1st Shift - 8am to 4 pm
2nd Shift - 4pm to 12am
3rd Shift - 12 am to 8 am
