Shop Technician / Industrial Apprentice

Who You Are:

• The MacGyver: You probably grew up fixing tractors on a farm, tearing down engines in your garage, or breaking things just to fix them.
• A Natural Born Learner: You have curiosity, common sense, and strong problem-solving skills. If you don't know how to do something, you don't stare at the wall—you figure it out, hit YouTube, or ask a smart question.
• High Initiative: You take pride in your work. If you mess it up the first time (it happens), you make damn sure you nail it the next time.
• The "Anti-Excuse" Guy: When you see the boss doing heavy lifting, your first instinct is to jump in and say, "Why the hell are you doing that? Let me take it."

What You’ll Do:

• Learn the art of high-end custom powder coating and sandblasting (we will fully train you).
• Work side-by-side with the owner on welding, assembly, and random rad shop improvement projects.
• Stay three steps ahead of the workflow instead of waiting around to be told what to do.
• Bring your brain to work. If you see a faster, better, or safer way to get a job done, speak up. We want to learn from you, too.
• Keep your work area clean enough that we don't trip over your tools.

The Fine Print:

• Grit Required: You need a good work ethic and the ability to safely lift 75 lbs, work on your feet, and handle a hot shop environment with a good attitude.
• The Standard: You must be reliable, professional, and able to pass a drug screen.
• Language: English or Spanish speakers welcome! (Habla español es más que bienvenido aquí).

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
