Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, or hand tools with precision and attention to detail
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and welding to restore vehicle integrity
- Buff, polish, and detail painted surfaces for a smooth, high-gloss finish that exceeds customer expectations
- Conduct quality inspections on painted vehicles to ensure flawless finishes and adherence to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive auto body painting background demonstrating skill in auto restoration
- Proficiency with welding techniques and mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair processes
- Skilled in handling hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and buffing machines
- Experience with auto painting techniques including airless spray application and detailing processes
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto glass replacement is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks required in auto body repair environments
