Essential Functions
- Measure and mark materials to verify dimensions.
- Communicate any discrepancies andinconsistencies of material or work order
- Establish the specifications of materials to beconstructed or repaired and plan methodsand operations for shaping and assembling,based on blueprints and work orderinstructions.
- Identify and report any defective materials orquestionable conditions
- Maintain the work area and equipment in aclean orderly condition.
- Wear appropriate personal protectiveequipment (PPE) correctly and safely.
- Follow all prescribed safety regulations.
- Previous woodworking experience required
- Ability to work both independently and withothers
- Ability to communicate clearly with otheremployees
- Proficient use of both hand and power tools
- Mechanical ability for both large and small equipment
- Good manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Strong mathematical skills
