About Us: Custom Metal Fabricators, INC is a family owned and operated company specializing in grain handling equipment and custom products for the agriculture industry. We are seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator to join our team and contribute to the design and production of our high-quality equipment.
Job Description: The Fabrication Machine Operator is responsible for operating various forming machines, including sheet rolls, press brake, and shear to build grain distributors, cyclones, valves and other equipment of varying sizes and complexity.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret production drawings.
- Assist team members in loading/unloading parts and materials for their job.
- Operate equipment and forklifts required to complete assigned jobs.
- Maintain shop equipment and tools.
- Have a positive attitude and work well with others.
- Be a dependable and punctual team member.
- A desire to work in an environment where challenges exist daily to work on custom built projects.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have MIG experience with strong fabrication skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interpret complex technical information.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
