Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
- Measure parts with precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to guide assembly processes
- Use welding, soldering, machining, fabrication, and welding techniques as required for assembly tasks
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished products
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
- Conduct quality checks utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure assemblies meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to manufacturing standards
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and adjusting assemblies as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and machining tools safely
- Experience with warehouse operations including forklift operation is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge including fabrication techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to manually handle parts and materials safely while adhering to safety standards
- Familiarity with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during work activities
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly work
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred but not required
