Key Responsibilities
- Assist with design, development, and evaluation of mechanical systems and components
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for mechanical issues
- Participate in engineering projects, including research, analysis, and documentation
- Help prepare technical drawings, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals
- Perform general engineering support tasks as needed
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and engineering principles
- Hands-on lab, academic project, or internship experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment
- Practical, hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment
- Exposure to real-world engineering projects and challenges
- Opportunity to develop technical and problem-solving skills
- Mentorship and collaboration with experienced engineers
- Hourly rate based on academic year:
- Freshman: $16.00/hour
- Sophomore: $17.00/hour
- Junior: $18.00/hour
- Senior: $19.00/hour
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- CME positions require access to controlled goods under ITAR/EAR regulations; applicants must be "U.S. Persons" as defined by these regulations.
- Compliance with U.S. federal law requires verification of identity and work eligibility; CME cannot employ individuals who do not meet these criteria, including those on student or temporary work visas.
- Completion of Predictive Index Assessments.
