About the Role
Custom Lawn-Scapes is looking for a motivated Landscape Maintenance Technician in Training to join our team. This entry-level role provides hands-on training in mowing, trimming, edging, equipment operation, property maintenance, seasonal cleanups, planting, pruning, mulching, and landscape enhancement. You'll work alongside experienced team members while receiving online, classroom, and field training. We're looking for someone dependable, willing to learn, follows directions, works safely, and wants to build a long-term career in landscaping.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with daily landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and cleanup
• Help with weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, watering, and soil preparation
• Participate in seasonal cleanups, leaf removal, aeration, dethatching, and overseeding
• Load, organize, and care for tools, equipment, plants, and materials
• Follow work orders, property instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Report landscape, turf, irrigation, or property concerns to the Lead
• Complete other landscaping and maintenance tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous landscaping experience helpful but not required
• Reliable transportation; valid driver's license preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to work outdoors in changing weather and on uneven terrain
• Able to perform physical tasks and safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working around landscaping equipment, materials, dust, noise, and outdoor conditions
• Must follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Overtime or occasional Saturdays may be required during busy seasons
• Equipment may only be operated after proper training and authorization
