Duties
- Prepare sterile compounded medications following precise aseptic techniques and established protocols
- Assist pharmacists with medication intake, labeling, and documentation for inpatient and outpatient settings
- Support the preparation of IV medications, ensuring accuracy in dosage and sterility throughout the process
- Maintain a clean, organized sterile compounding area in compliance with regulatory standards
- Verify medication orders using medical terminology and clinical information to ensure correct patient care
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Participate in quality assurance activities by documenting procedures, inspecting compounded products, and adhering to safety guidelines
Skills
