Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers to maintain lawns and gardens.
- Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal of landscapes.
- Support landscape maintenance tasks including planting, mulching, fertilizing, and watering to promote lush greenery.
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming or removal under supervision, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and clippings to uphold professional standards.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
- Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills in construction, tree care, irrigation systems, or hardscape installation.
