What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Dock Worker position at Custom Food Service?
Custom Food Service is a local family owned food service distributor servicing the state of Arizona. Our excellent employees, quality products, and outstanding service sets us apart. CFS has a dedicated staff with a culture of professionalism while maintaining a caring and friendly family business environment. We are looking for the right candidate to join our driving team.
We are looking for individuals that can not only deliver products to customers but also represent the company in a positive fashion to the public and the customer's that we serve. This position will be a flex driver/dock worker position.
Start times can vary Monday through Friday. Typical start times can be from 4am to 6am. Routes typically take 6-8 hours, then work the dock after to achieve 40 hour work week.
A driver for Custom Food Service should be able to:
- lift 75 pounds
- stand for extended periods of time
- drive a 26 foot truck
- supply us with a clean driving record for a 2 year period
- have good customer service skills
-Stand Up Forklift, Reach, Cherry Picker Experience IS A MUST!
- pass a health screening
- pre-employment DOT testing required
- supply us with a job history of driving or delivering products
- have a flexible schedule
-Pay Range $21 to $24 an hour
