Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize advanced equipment including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits aligned with ISO 9001,
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement quality control procedures within manufacturing processes, identifying deviations and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards where applicable.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality inspection or quality assurance roles.
- Familiarity with calibration, use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), and vision inspection systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001,
- Experience conducting quality audits, data collection, analysis skills, and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles within regulated manufacturing settings.
- Ability to operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM), data collection tools, and other precision measurement instruments confidently.
