Experienced Heavy Equipment Loader Operator
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Custom Ecology, Inc. (CEI) is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Loader Operator to join our team. We are looking for highly skilled operators who thrive in a fast-paced, high-production environment while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety and equipment care.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 6AM- 6PM
• Rotating Saturdays
• Day Shift
• Weekly Pay

What You’ll Do
As a Heavy Equipment Loader Operator, you will play a critical role in keeping our transfer station and yard operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:

• Safely and efficiently operate front-end loaders, excavators, backhoes, forklifts
• Load transfer trailers to maximize payload while maintaining safe weight distribution and secure loading practices.
• Perform excavation, Front end loader material handling, and site maintenance utilizing heavy equipment.
• Conduct required pre-trip, post-trip, and equipment inspections, documenting deficiencies to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to CEI’s safety culture by identifying hazards and immediately reporting equipment concerns.
Perform minor preventative maintenance including:

• • Greasing as needed
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with general yard operations and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
We’re searching for operators who bring experience, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience
• Current 16 hour MRF and Transfer station operators course certification.
Extensive experience operating:

• • Front-End Loaders
  • Excavators
  • Backhoes
  
  
• Experience in waste transfer stations, construction, mining, landfill, aggregate, recycling, or similar high-production environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment smoothly, efficiently, and safely in tight working areas around trucks, trailers, and personnel.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify equipment issues before they become major repairs.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong attendance and dependability.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work when required.
