Dental Assistant – Dental Office
Location: Ottawa, KS | Schedule: Full-time, M, T, W, TH 8-6, in-office
Are you a people-focused multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced dental environment? We’re looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide excellent chairside support while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the dentist chairside during exams and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Take X-rays and impressions as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure efficient flow of appointments
- Support patients with comfort, reassurance, and clear communication
What We’re Looking For
- Dental Assistant certification (state requirements) and 1 year experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and efficiency
- Familiarity with dental software and digital X-rays a plus
