Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled PAC MAC OPERATOR to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining advanced machinery within a dynamic production environment. Duties
- Operate PAC MAC machinery, including stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools.
- Set up and adjust equipment using blueprint reading, GD&T, and CAD drawings to ensure precise manufacturing outputs.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment utilizing CAM programming and Fanuc controls.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machines such as press brake machines, fabrication tools, and other machining equipment.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling techniques; assist with inventory management and packaging.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure specifications are met.
- Assist in fabrication, assembly line tasks, tooling setup, welding, and general factory operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols and factory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with manufacturing machinery including CNC programming (Fanuc preferred), stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC lathes, milling machines, and fabrication tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks; experience with CAM programming is a plus.
- Familiarity with tooling setup, welding techniques, materials handling (forklift operation), and assembly processes.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes.
- Basic math skills necessary for machine setup and measurement calculations.
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate hand tools and work on an assembly line efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
