Custom Business Solutions, a Michigan-based talent agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Application Developer for a on-site/hybrid workplace opportunity in metro Detroit or mid-Michigan. Qualified candidates submitting an application will be considered for this contract opportunity.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET:

• 7 years of application development experience

• Core Java / J2EE

• RESTful Web Services

• Strong understanding of JVM internals and performance profiling

• Spring Framework

• Angular, TypeScript, Node.js

• HTML / CSS

• Jersey

• SQL and PL/SQL

• Oracle Database

• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining full stack applications using Core Java, Spring, and Angular

• Building and consuming RESTful web services with a focus on performance and scalability

• Analyzing and optimizing JVM performance, including profiling and tuning

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions

• Translating business requirements into technical designs and working solutions

• Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and technical troubleshooting

• Ensuring application quality through testing, debugging, and performance optimization

• Contributing to continuous improvement of development standards and practices
