Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Address all hazards such as tripping hazards and leaks promptly.
- Clean roof drains regularly to prevent blockages and water damage.
- Ensure all carpentry and cosmetic building items are addressed promptly.
- Inspect and diagnose property for signs of wear, damage, or safety concerns.
- Respond to facilities requests and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify facilities needs, safety hazards, and code compliance issues.
- Complete lighting night inspections according to the assigned schedule
- Follow an assigned route to perform inspections and maintenance tasks across multiple locations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including work logs, inspection reports, and parts used.
- Report work orders closed timely.
- Report any major issues or repairs that require additional resources or follow-up.
- Complete all safety training timely
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on facilities activities and addressing any concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring minimal disruption to property operations during facilities activities.
- Travel to various locations within the designated region to perform repairs, and inspections.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate emergency repairs and high-priority service calls.
- Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities, repair, or a related field.
- Experience with mobile or field service work is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
