Commercial Cleaner- 2nd Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team for the 2nd shift. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, common areas, and industrial zones using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or hazards
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-up painting when needed
• Support facilities maintenance efforts by reporting any damages or issues requiring further attention

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing required
• Experience with general cleaning procedures for office buildings, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities beneficial
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety guidelines necessary for effective and safe cleaning practices
• Previous porter or facilities maintenance experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to creating a hygienic environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
