Trust & Estate Planning - Associate Attorney

We are seeking a Trust and Estate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sophisticated estate planning matters for high net worth individuals and families and will be comfortable handling significant client interaction. This is a unique opportunity to work and learn directly from Hall of Fame and Go-To Lawyer, Leo J Cushing, Esq. and his team.

Responsibilities

·        Draft and implement complex estate plans for high net worth clients

·        Prepare revocable trusts, irrevocable gifting trusts, and related estate planning documents

·        Assist with estate and fiduciary tax compliance matters

·        Work directly with clients to develop customized planning strategies

·        Collaborate with attorneys and professional advisors on advanced planning matters

·        Stay current on developments in trust, estate, and tax law

Qualifications

·        2–5 years of trust and estate experience

·        Experience with sophisticated estate planning techniques for high net worth individuals

·        Strong drafting and analytical skills

·        Experience with estate and fiduciary tax compliance preferred

·        Commitment to professional growth and continued learning

·        Excellent interpersonal and client service skills

·        Undergraduate degree in business or related field is helpful

·        LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred, but not required
