Quality Control Inspector
Cush Suspensions is a privately owned and operated business. We are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Nixa, MO.
Job Description:
Perform Visual Inspection and / or Mechanical inspection for in-process and final QC inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies.
Identify and record any product quality problem(s)
Communicate all quality issues to management in a timely manner, along with recommendations for any corrective actions that may be necessary. Ensuring that defective parts are repaired, re-tested, or pulled from production.
Delivering reports to other team members to address persistent quality issues in manufacturing and identify problem areas.
Monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing materials and parts
inspecting materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable company standards.
inspecting materials and products across all stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met.
Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with company requirements.
Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare produced goods.
Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
Advising the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Using gauges such as calipers and micrometers to measure products.
Determining the causes of product defects and reworks
Perform Visual Inspection and / or Mechanical inspection for in-process and final QC inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies.
Communicate all quality issues to management in a timely manner.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
1 year inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (welding preferred)
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as well as basic math.
Ability to understand and use basic inspection tools, such as: protractor, micrometer,
Ability to understand product drawings, specifications and visual work instructions.
Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, stoop, for the duration of the shift.
Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, inside and outside environments.
Follow Company Quality Management System and Safety procedures.
Computer skills,
Self-starter, who can work independently with minimal supervision and positive attitude.
Willingness to be trained and a quick learner.
Willing to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as needed.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions; may need to work outside in hot & cold weather.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
