CurtisWiltse M&A is seeking an organized, proactive professional to work closely with firm leadership in a role that combines executive administrative support with project and transaction coordination.
This position offers meaningful involvement in the business sale and acquisition process, including communication with business owners, coordinating information requests, and keeping multiple projects moving forward. Strong project management skills and a background or interest in finance, accounting, or business operations are significant advantages.

Key Responsibilities
Executive and Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate calls with clients, buyers, attorneys, accountants, and other advisors.
- Organize email, track follow-up items, and help leadership prioritize competing demands.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, meeting agendas, and other business materials.
- Capture meeting notes and turn decisions into clear assignments and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate contact records, electronic files, and confidential business information.
- Coordinate travel and provide general administrative support as needed.
Project and Transaction Coordination
- Maintain project plans, transaction checklists, timelines, and status reports.
- Track responsibilities and deadlines across multiple client engagements.
- Coordinate document requests and follow up on outstanding information.
- Organize transaction files and electronic data rooms to support due diligence.
- Identify potential delays, communicate issues promptly, and help keep work on schedule.
- Improve processes, templates, and systems as the firm grows.
Financial and Business Support
- Assist with gathering and organizing client financial statements and supporting records.
- Help prepare spreadsheets, business summaries, and presentation materials under leadership’s direction.
- Review information for completeness and consistency, flagging missing items or discrepancies.
- Support research on companies, industries, and prospective buyers.
- Depending on experience, assist with basic financial comparisons, reporting, and analysis.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in executive assistance, project coordination, business operations, or a related role.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive financial and client information.
- Confidence communicating with business owners and professional advisors.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and calendar tools.
- A willingness to learn new technology and improve how work gets done.
Especially Valuable
- Strong project management experience.
- Financial or accounting knowledge, including familiarity with income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in M&A, business brokerage, investment banking, accounting, legal services, or another professional services environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, project management software, electronic data rooms, and AI productivity tools.
