Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP is an international law firm with 19 offices worldwide.
This position provides paralegal support to the Litigation department working on a wide range of U.S. and international matters. It is based out of our New York office. We currently follow a hybrid work model with the expectation of three days in the office and two days remote. Candidates must be prepared to maintain flexibility regarding the work schedule, as firm and case needs may require adjustments.
As a Litigation Paralegal at our Firm, you will be a central resource, responsible for organizing case materials and providing essential support across all stages of litigation. This includes working alongside associates and partners at junior and senior levels during discovery, when preparing pleadings, during trials, and post-trial proceedings. We seek a candidate who is detail-oriented, demonstrates an eagerness to learn, and is proactive. What you’ll do:
- Case management, including maintaining workspaces and databases
- Assist teams with document review, discovery, preparation of exhibits and other tasks
- Conduct basic legal research, prepare charts and demonstratives as needed
- Provide trial support, including preparation of materials and assistance during trial days
- Accurate and efficient data and document management
- Work across firm resources on projects to support case teams
- Overtime to be expected
- Requires a two year commitment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of paralegal experience, a plus
- Strong organizational, communication and project management skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of diverse teams
- Ability to prioritize and make the appropriate tradeoffs as needed
- Comfortable learning new software, including litigation support tools
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Salary Range: $50,000- $55,000
