Our New Hartford location is looking to find a hard working individual to join our us as a Dispatcher! The perfect fit will work well in a fast paced environment, be detail oriented, and a team player!
- Must track all driver/truck loads both outgoing and incoming.
- Set schedule for deliveries, including assignment of driver to that delivery and truck.
- Research and resolve questions from customers on their delivery:
- When will load be delivered (Day & Time)
- Where will it be left
- What to do about damaged materials
- Provide a high level of customers service so customers are serviced politely, professionally, and in a timely manner as it pertains to deliveries.
- Set expectations and monitor that material is properly staged, loaded, and secured.
- Ensure that all company and customer property and equipment are treated with care and respect.
- Provide open communications with management, customers, and co-workers for smooth operation of the delivery system.
- Must be prepared to act under emergency situations such as a driver accident and/or injury, vehicle breakdown or damage, or customer property damage.
- Develop new and existing skills through educational programs with both company provided and self-directed training.
- Monday through Friday 40 hours per week start time 6am
- Paid weekly on Fridays
- Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
- Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
