Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window & Siding Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various types of windows & Vinyl Siding & Aluminum products on residential and Manufactured home properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install windows according to specifications and building codes, ensuring proper sealing and insulation.
- Install Vinyl Siding, & Soffit according to specifications and building codes.
- Install aluminum protector pans , gutters & carport pans according to building codes on Manufactured homes.
- Perform caulking and weatherproofing to enhance energy efficiency and protect against moisture.
- Read and interpret work orders (in English)
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing Siding ,Windows & Aluminum products .
- Restore existing window frames when necessary to ensure a secure fit for new installations.
- Lift heavy materials as required during the installation process while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Work in the Florida heat outside .
Requirements
- Proven experience in window /Vinyl Siding installation or related carpentry experience is preferred , but we are willing to train a fast learner with some construction skills.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong skills in caulking, trim carpentry, are helpful.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license & transportation is required for travel between job sites.
