THE ROLE
In this role, you will be bringing life to the mission of Curt Landry Ministries (CLM) and House of David Ministries (HOD) as an Ambassador of the Kingdom of God.
The Call Center Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for CLM, ensuring exceptional customer service and spiritual care. This role is essential in supporting customers, managing communications, and maintaining the integrity of the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a heart for ministry, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Alignment with Curt Landry Ministries' mission and vision is a key requirement of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage all incoming points of contact with warmth, patience, and professionalism.
- Provide information about the ministry's programs, services, events, resources, and support options.
- Listen carefully to callers' needs and offer compassionate, respectful assistance in alignment with the ministry's values.
- Pray with callers as needed, offering prayers of agreement, and appropriately document prayer needs/requests for the Prayer Team.
- Support customers with Freedom Prayer appointments and resolving account-related issues.
- Document all calls and interactions clearly and accurately in the appropriate systems and databases.
- Handle sensitive or personal information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
- Follow call center procedures, scripts, escalation steps, and service standards consistently.
- Monitor donations and subscriptions for errors or concerns.
- Assist in maintaining the bookstore, ensuring sale items are updated in the POS system.
- Assist in shipping and transporting products to customers and events.
- Monitor and moderate comments on social media channels, taking action as necessary.
- Represent the organization with integrity, kindness, and excellence, supporting the overall mission of the ministry.
- Other duties as assigned, with a willingness to support the team and the mission of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with active listening ability.
- A heart for ministry and prayer, with a strong commitment to serving others; comfortable praying with or for callers in a compassionate, respectful, and appropriate manner.
- Ability to communicate in a Christ-centered, respectful, and encouraging manner.
- Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented approach to helping others.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good judgment when handling confidential, emotional, or sensitive caller situations.
- Ability to follow procedures while still showing flexibility, empathy, and care.
- Detail-oriented and with reliable accuracy in recording information and completing follow-up tasks.
- Familiarity with customer service platforms and systems (InfusionSoft/WooCommerce preferred)
- Comfortable using technology and call-tracking systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt as the ministry's tools and processes evolve.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support ministry staff, volunteers, and callers.
- Commitment to the mission, values, and faith-based purpose of the Christian ministry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
