What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Curry manor?
We are looking for a competent Housekeeper to take care of our client's facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of cleaning tasks. The goal is to help the facility operate efficiently and maintain high productivity.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform light cooking, cooking food prep, and kitchen duties
- Assist in organizing and storage of cleaning supplies
- Cleaning of common areas and windows and doors of the facility
- Perform some light maintenance (fix locks, replace light bulbs, replace door locks)
- Sorting and preparation of cleaning supplies
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills
- Proven working experience as a housekeeper
- Knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning techniques is a plus but not required
- Willingness to work hard and long hours
- Good time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time. This position requires attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
