Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Driver/ Helper to join our team. In this role, you will pick up residential garbage and recycling. 95 percent of is in a roll cart that is dumped by the truck. , ensuring timely and safe collection. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork and safety, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Dump trash and recycling from houses.
- Deliver carts, mow grass etc.
- Navigate routes effectively, providing support for route driving.
- Maintain communication with the driver regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times while on duty.
Skills
- Experience with truck driving or commercial driving is preferred.
- But not a must
- Ability to load and unload efficiently and safely after trained.
- Strong teamwork skills, with an emphasis on collaboration with drivers and other team members.
- Good communication skills to effectively relay information between the driver and other personnel.
- Capability to operate various types of vehicles, including those requiring manual transmission.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and route navigation.
