SITE: Knotts Island Elementary School
POSITION TITLE: PowerSchool Data Manager
REPORTS TO: Principal/PowerSchool Coordinator
START DATE: Immediate
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Associate Degree preferred
- PowerSchool experience in the educational field preferred
- Two years of work experience one of which is data entry or a year of work directly related to a computer system which requires knowledge of editing
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2 hours daily/10 months week before & week after teacher workdays
SALARY: Pay Grade 55
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND DISPOSITIONS:
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with a team
- Confident and comfortable working with the public
- General knowledge of computers and computer software programs with the ability to troubleshoot software problems remotely
- Strong administrative skills to interpret county and state policies governing enrollment/withdrawal, academic, attendance, immunizations, and health records
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and exercise independent judgment in correcting data errors or omissions
- Ability to use discretion to structure tasks to meet expectations and effectively prioritize to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate well with school personnel, parents, and students, while complying with confidentiality requirements in local, state, and federal policies
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with broad and diverse audiences
- Behave as a positive role model both professionally and personally
