Position Overview
Current Wireless Solutions is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Telecommunications Construction Manager to oversee field operations associated with telecom projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and surrounding markets.
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel between active telecommunications construction sites. It is not an office-based or remote management role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor crews, monitoring construction progress, enforcing safety requirements, conducting field audits, verifying installation quality, and ensuring projects are executed in accordance with customer specifications.
This position requires extensive knowledge of wireless telecommunications construction, including tower-mounted and ground-based infrastructure, and proven experience supervising construction crews.
We are specifically seeking candidates with previous experience as a Tower Foreman, Tower Supervisor, Telecommunications Construction Manager, or equivalent field leadership role.
This is not an entry-level position or an opportunity for an inexperienced technician to transition directly into construction management.
We need an established field leader who can independently manage construction activities, confidently challenge unsafe practices, and hold subcontractors accountable for safety, quality, and performance.

- Ensure proper use and condition of personal protective equipment, fall protection systems, tools, and safety equipment.
- Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and non-compliant work practices, ensuring immediate corrective action.

- Ensure work does not resume until identified hazards have been appropriately addressed.
- Document safety observations, deficiencies, corrective actions, and follow-up inspections.
- Escalate serious safety violations, incidents, near misses, and recurring subcontractor deficiencies in accordance with company and customer reporting requirements.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
- Hold subcontractors accountable for maintaining safe working environments and addressing identified deficiencies.
- Support customer safety inspections, compliance audits, and continuous safety improvement initiatives.

- Support troubleshooting and resolution of construction-related issues identified during commissioning.
- Communicate site readiness and construction completion status to Project Management and Integration teams.

Direct integration experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must understand how construction quality and site readiness affect successful equipment integration.
